An Iran Air Boeing 727-200, registration EP-IRP performing flight IR-277 from Tehran Mehrabad to Orumiyeh (Iran) with 95 passengers and 8 crew, was on final approach to Orumiyeh's Urmia Airport in fog and snowfall around 19:45L (16:15Z). The crew went around but the airplane impacted mountainous terrain at Terman village about 5 miles from the airport. So far 50 survivors were rescued with minor injuries, there is no word on the fate of the other occupants.
